MTH Family Sledding Party

The wind was brisk, the hill was icy and it was super fun!

Favorite husband and I were able to join our community in a family winter party which included ice carvers, funky DJ, skating, hot dogs and our highlight...sledding. The boys loved it. All three of them!

Today in Pictures

Today we bundled up...it was a balmy +4....but before the coats were in place, there was a closet to play in.

Finally, ready to go! Sledding.....

.....or to the pharmacy for meds, whichever came first.

After a super fun time sledding on the "moon" (The Common Park), it was time to go home & make dinner with Sir Astronaut and Bup.

Bup helped me cook. While W watched Mr. Bean. (I kid you not. He loves Mr. Bean!...huh?...yup!)

The broccoli stems made it into the smallest canister with coffee grounds.

And the canister survived their pyramid scheme.

Then, Bon Appetite! The Kids Love Broccoli Pasta was created from Clean Eating for Family & Kids Cookbook. Yum! Both boys ate every last bite on their plates, which is a miracle unto itself.

Forgetful Friday

Today is one of those days in which moments are better forgotten.

Took W to pre-school today and marvelled at my luck of getting a parking spot close to the entrance....only there's NO school today. PT Interviews. Oops!
The positive spin, is that I didn't forget to pick him up from school! (A certain sister has experienced that a couple of times....her poor youngest girl waiting at pre-school....)

Forgot to unlock the top-super-W-lock on the door before going to play with the boys downstairs.....which is not usually necessary except I can't hear the doorbell downstairs....and my charming husband was ringing it for 10 minutes...with flowers in his hand...and a frown on his face. Oh-oh. (Thanks for the flowers, sweetie.)

Tomorrow is Super Saturday, right?
