The Zoo Crew

A chilly morning spent at the Zoo. It was so good to get out of the house. Despite the pending rain we braved the weather and were succesful. The clouds didn't open up until we were in the truck and ready to leave.
W was thrilled about going to the Zoo. On route he demonstrated animal sounds of all the ones he wanted to see, including a lovely loud, loud, loud shriek for a peacock. He loves seeing the animals, but the info-phones are a real hit too. We can barely pass one by without stopping to listen/talk.
And R....sweet little R just slept the whole time we were there, must have been the coziness of a winter hat, sweater and blanket...for a while only one eye was peaking out.
Pushing the double stroller has got to count as some sort of work out. I figure that with the boys alone it weighs 56lbs. Plus there is a hill or two at the Zoo. I must have worked off breakfast at the very least!
Ah, a lovely morning had by all.

  1. So fun! We haven't been to the zoo in ages. Maybe we'll have to give it a go one of these days...
