It's summer!
There is a neighbor that showed up at 5pm with a bottle of chilled homemade kiwi wine. It was fabulous! I do think this should become a Friday summer ritual! Hopefully, this impromptu wine tasting event didn't shock my neice and cause her to never want to babysit again as she was there to care for our boys while we attended a Stagewest production, which was fabulous 70's fever, by the way. I got the boogie woogie fever....especially with a groovy pair of platform heels. Okay...totally rambling....
Isn't this an important aspect of summer? Sitting out in the evening sun, enjoying conversation and friends and cool drinks...drinks of any sort, even ice water is sufficient when shared with a friend on a warm summer's evening.
Sounds like a little slice of heaven to me, hope you find your slice tonight!
