Our Little Timbit

Here we are...soccer parents, a soccer family. We've joined the suburban stereotype.

W had his first soccer practice and game on Saturday. It was too cute seeing all these little Timbits in their too big soccer jerseys. Of course, our W was unique and insisted on wearing his shin pads outside of his pants! Next time, there'll be shorts and soccer socks...official uniform.
Bup was tired and sad the whole hour. He finally gave in and fell asleep. Apparently, he's not a big soccer fan!

And the soccer dad was a little tired....of chasing boys and rounding them up back to the stroller or the soccer field. We're learning so much patience and endurance, my favorite husband and I.

All in all it was a good event. W had some fun which is evident by the adorable grin on his face during the race.
As well as, when he told his coach he likes Nickelback and then proceeded to dance and sing at the top of his lungs in the middle of the game.
"Nickelback, the band?"
"Yeah! Walkin' out the back door...."

  1. What a wonderful time it is when your kids have grown and can play sports. Dads are in their glory! As for MR R - I had a MR Uncle B that did not like dragging to games of his older bro'. Boring and he would sooner run and climb and get into mischief! Enjoy them -this is the best time of your lives!!! When U B asked MR W what his number was (meaaing his timbit soccer shirt) - he repeated his phone number - smart KID!
