Last week our Bup was admitted to the ACH for surveillance in regards to the seizure activity his experiencing. We, we...as I was there 24-7 with him, ended up staying an extra day as there were no episodes the first two days, however day three brought 9 seizures, 5 of which were captured on EEG and video. Thankfully the Neurologist was able to see how the seizures present and analyze them. Some answers were given and all test results are not in yet. The MRI has been scheduled finally, so now it's the waiting game. A test of patience.
Prior to admittance, Bup & I made a trip to Beaner's for his first hair cut. I was sad to see his curls go, but he was even sadder. The poor little mite sobbed his heart out throughout the whole hair cut. He sat still, held my hand, and cried big tears with his bottom lip shaking the whole time. We all felt bad; Bup, the stylist, and me. He's still supercute with his little boy haircut and it will grow. The curls will return in a few months I'm sure.
Short of standing on my head while singing children's songs it took some creative play to keep our sweet little 1 yr old happy in a crib for three days. When you're 14mtbs old, able to walk and in the exploration stage it's really hard & frustrating to be confined to a crib for three whole days. But we managed. Of course, I snuck him out once or twice much to the staff's chagrin, but what's a mom to do?!
Bup is happy to be home and on the move again.
Picture to follow...technical difficulties...
