Squeaky Wheel

Tomorrow is a big day for our little Bup. He's off to ACH for an overnight stay, 24hr EEG & video monitoring. The siezure activity hasn't ceased, which is the preferred result due to the meds he is taking, so we're back to ACH in hopes to find out what's going on & why. It took a few phone calls yesterday, emails last week & this week, to make this happen. The squeaky wheel gets the grease, right? If one doesn't ask, one doesn't receive. So, complacent mother is out of the question when it comes to our boy's health. Hopefully, yesterdays requests will result in the MRI that we've been waiting for too. Here's hoping!

Thanks to certain people we are able to make tomorrow a special fun day for W. He'll get to spend time with his Uncle B & a friend of ours. We've been talking about how fun tomorrow will be and playing it up so that when Bup and I are in the hospital, W won't feel left out or miss us too much. I'm very grateful that Uncle B & an M friend are able to help, as otherwise it would mean a sitter for W, R being on his own in the evening and/or B having to take time off work.

This EEG also means a hair cut for our babe. As much as I HATE to do it, having short hair will make connecting the EEG so much easier & less traumatic for R. And that's most important...the easier the procedures are on Bup the better. It'll be a trying morning anyway, having his sweet curls complicate things in unnecessary.
Wish our Bup luck!

  2. Hey, we've been away. Sorry we weren't home to help out.
Hope all is well and little R had an easy time.
    You're such a loving mommy. I bet W had a great day.
I hope you get some helpful results from all this.
