Baby Bup 21 months

Our Bup is such a sweet, funny little guy.

He gives the best fish-lip kisses, and hugs with sound effects..."OOOOhhh!"

Loves to play chase...even when it's not funny! Such as when you're wanting to get out of the house on time so instead of putting on his coat he's racing around the island laughing.

Enjoys "DDD"...DVD...& goes to the TV saying "DDD" then cracks it laughing and stamps his foot over and over when you tell him yes he can have a DVD. Which is either a Baby Einstein or his all time favorite, Elmo. Loves, loves, L-O-V-E-S Elmo, Ernie and Cookie, said with a deep growly voice.

Presses his squishy little face against the glass at W's preschool and yells, "W" while dancing and squealing with delight at the sight of his beloved brother.

Still seizure free...wuhoo!! Next month we start retesting organs to ensure there has been no change, & also an audiology test just to be certain that his hearing is fine tuned enough for speech...which I have no doubt that it is. This month, Feb, marks a year past since R first started seizing. A year already....so many feelings attached to this not to be explored right now.

Speech...is growing daily. Yesterday the word of the day was "purple" and today it's "stick". Of course, you really have to listen closely but they're there. And he's a waver. Waves at every car or person while shopping, etc. Even waves at your bare toes if you wiggle them!

Growing, growing, baby be gone....oh so sad that he's getting so big! My baby has become full on toddler. Mr. Wearing Size 2. & Size 8 shoes now has almost all his teeth, runs and jumps (sort of) and crouches head down with bum in air wishing he could get all the way over for a somersault...oh! and don't make me mad or I'll whack you one, Big Brother or Mother!:)

  1. He really is so so sweet!
This is such an adorable age. The kissing AND the slapping.
It's like their little heads are just bursting with all the new things they are figuring out and learning.

What a relief - no seizures lately! Great news.

  2. Purple was loud and clear the other day, no question. OK so was pink, but I haven't seen him wearing those colors! Come on blue!!! We tried, darn old girl colors anyways.
