The bald Bare Naked Noggins folks met up for lunch today. Shout out to the Iron Wood Stage & Grill....fabulous food! Try the chicken wrap "Grilled Chicken with Avocado Salsa, Honey Peppered Bacon, Jack Cheese and Sweet Chile Mayo"... mmmmm.By the way, the BNN event raised over $23, 000! Wuhoo! All for local Epilepsy education programs. Again....THANK YOU for your support. You made this happen.
It was fun to gather with the other participants and share our post bald experiences. And wouldn't you know, the two ladies I sat with.....they live in my community! What a wonderful small world we live in.The Epilepsy Association's next fundraiser is a spare change can event in conjunction with Macs convenience stores. So starting in March, if you find yourself in a Macs, please drop a coin or two into the cans by the till. All funds go to our local Epilepsy Assoc.
Did you know that some of those coin box fundraisers only provide a small portion to the actual charity and a "management" company gets the majority of funds raised? So unethical. Anyway, this is not the case as the EA manages the cans themselves. Throw a loonie their way & make a difference today...well in March.
