Today W was desperately trying to build a tent using three couch cushions. They kept falling...with the help of R leaning on them or crawling in said tent before completion. W was not pleased! So we created this tent version of the couch. A great place to have a snack and watch a movie.
Monster trucks. How is that little boys become so engrossed with these over the top machines? W is slightly obsessed. He asks for Monster Truck stories at bedtime and drools over one in his Guiness Book of Records. This week he has spent two days turning his bed into a "monstertruck". Created by piling every object in Man's World that is not bolted down, onto the bed....and Ta Daaaa! Monstertruck!

I used to, in my much younger days, build tents in the living room of my childhood house, on the backs of all the chairs and used every blanket off every bed in the house. Now I know why I hate making beds -- my punishment - she who messes the beds has to re-make them! But it sure was fun.
